The society hosts many career-related events throughout the year, the highlight being our Economics Careers Fair in late September, which brings together top firms from many of the economics-related industries.

We are excited to present our newly developed careers strategy, which consists of a three-dimensional approach of mentoring, services, and networking:

Starting this year, third and fourth year students with experience in respective fields will be available for guidance, with the aim of fostering a community of support as students progress in their career journey.

EdEconSoc organises, in collaboration with the university’s careers team, a selection of interventions throughout the year, including CV/cover letter workshops and case studies provided by private companies.

We will also utilize our relationships with different firms through sponsorships and partnerships to host networking events, such as wine receptions and dinners, with employees from these firms, as well as alumni from the School of Economics.
